Contributions from donor-advised funds are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. You can recommend how much and how often you want to distribute gifts from your fund to ¹ú²úÊÓƵ.

You can also choose to have any remaining DAF funds distributed to ¹ú²úÊÓƵ after your lifetime by naming ¹ú²úÊÓƵ as a beneficiary of all or a portion of the remaining funds.

¹ú²úÊÓƵ accepts donations of commonly held, publicly traded stocks in keeping with IRS regulation.

Your generous gift to ¹ú²úÊÓƵ will be valued at the close price on the date of the gift.

Please remind your broker to include your name, contact information, and special instructions for the transfer. When stocks are transferred electronically, we are informed of the stock name and the number of shares, not the name of the donor, unless you authorize your broker to share this information with us. We need to understand the intent of your gift in order to provide an acknowledgment letter for tax reporting purposes.

One of the easiest ways to increase your gift to ¹ú²úÊÓƵ is through your employer’s matching gift program. Companies have various methods for matching gift request submissions and many companies will match personal gifts, such as cash, stocks, marketable securities, and the value of your volunteer time. Companies may also match gifts from employee spouses, retirees, and board members.

Steps to participate in a matching gift program

• Obtain a matching gift form from your human resources office and review the program guidelines to ensure that ¹ú²úÊÓƵ is eligible to receive matching gifts.
• Complete the donor section of the form and submit it, along with your check or credit card authorization, to development@newamerica.org or in hard copy to:
