In the context of a State budget crisis, declining property values, and the concomitant decline in revenues for local governments in California, Michael Coleman of CaliforniaCityFinance.com and Mark Paul of ¹ú²úÊÓƵ Foundation will discuss the current state of affairs related to the state budget and the potential implications for local governments. 

The presentations will cover the effect of property value decreases on local governments, the implications of these decreases on local government operations, and possible responses by state and local governments to these crises.
