Feminism at a Crossroads

Feminism is currently having a cultural moment. It is part of mainstream culture in a way that has not been seen before the popular influence of Sheryl Sandberg and Beyonce, to name a couple. Online, there are thriving feminist blogs and huge levels of awareness and activism surrounding rape and assault on college campuses. While some are optimistic that this moment can be harnessed and society changed, many others are skeptical that the dialogue will not move past the 鈥渃heerleader phase鈥 to achieve more concrete goals.

Born out of their for The New Republic, senior editors Judith Shulevitz and Rebecca Traister, along with Anna Holmes and Salamishah Tillet, join 国产视频 NYC to take stock of the state of feminism in this moment and debate its future鈥攚here it is going and how can it be harnessed.
