The University of Michigan鈥檚 Public Interest Technology Knowledge Network (UM PIT-KN) Team, in partnership with the #BlackTechFutures Research Institute and 国产视频鈥檚 Public Interest Technology University Network (PIT-UN), are excited to present the findings of their research aimed at informing discussions and learning regarding career pathways into the field of PIT, with a focus on BIPOC PIT Entrepreneurs.聽
Panelists representing various perspectives in public interest technology ecosystem will provide an overview of what a 鈥淧IT Entrepreneur鈥 is, discuss the challenges faced by BIPOC PIT Entrepreneurs, offer a student perspective of participation in a PIT-focused experiential learning course, and gather feedback from panelists and attendees on pathways to support BIPOC PIT entrepreneurs.
