Before joining the University of Maryland, Dr. Morici served as Director of
Economics at the U.S. International Trade Commission. The author of 18 books
and monographs, including The Trade Deficit:
Where Does It Come from and What Does It Do and Reassessing American Competitiveness, Dr.
Morici has published widely in leading public policy and business journals such
as Foreign Policy, International Economy,
Regulation, Asian Wall
Street Journal, and the Harvard Business Review. His views are
frequently featured on CBS, FOX, CNN, CNBC, MSNBC, ABC, National Public Radio
and Broadcasting, CTV, and the BBC.
