The services behind apps like these seek to give you the best experience, tailored to your specific tastes. But are they reducing our experiences to ones dictated by algorithms? Should we worry about living the mediated life, or embrace it?

Join Future Tense on Wednesday, February 20, for the launch of “That’s Debatable,” a new debate series hosted by the ������Ƶ Foundation. Hear from ������Ƶ’s Bernard L.
