In Burlington, Vermont, even the graffiti goes solar.  The city of about 50,000 year-round residents runs on 100% renewable electricity. Burlington is one of the largest, possibly ³Ù³ó±ðÌýlargest American city, to go renewable, but with almost half of its power coming from hydro and another 30 percent from wood chips (the other 20 percent is from solar and wind), it’s not clear if Burlington offers a replicable model, or if the model is for cities to make the most of what they have.
