The PROSPER Act, H.R. 4508, as introduced proposed to eliminate Title II, which includes a number of teacher preparation programs; and replace it with a new apprenticeship program. While ¹ú²úÊÓƵ is supportive of apprenticeship programs, educator preparation is a national priority. This  to the chair and ranking member of the House Education Committee from ¹ú²úÊÓƵ’s education program urges them to restore authorization for educator preparation programs in the bill.
