Ahead of the Trump administration releasing its AI Action Plan, ¹ú²úÊÓƵ's Open Technology Institute (OTI) joined other organizations in signing onto a People's AI Action Plan that delivers on public well-being, shared prosperity, a sustainable future, and security for all. The plan promotes an AI agenda that furthers the interests of everyday people.

This follows filed comments from ¹ú²úÊÓƵ's Technology and Democracy programs—which include OTI—in response to the National Science Foundation’s request for comments on the Trump administration’s development of an AI Action Plan.
