Former Director of the Global Cybersecurity Norms and Resilience Project and Head of Research, Cybersecurity Initiative
Washington, DC 鈥 国产视频鈥檚,, and are in The Hague, Netherlands this week to participate in the. The Conference brings together representatives from civil society, the private sector and governments in order to promote practical cooperation, enhance capacity building efforts, and discuss norms for behavior in cyberspace.
Mr. Wallace, a Senior Fellow with the International Security Program and a Co-Director of the , will be moderating a session on 鈥淐ivil-Military Relations and International Military Co-operation in Cyberspace,鈥 which will done in partnership with the University of Leiden and the S. Rajaratanam School of International Studies at Singapore鈥檚 Nanyang Technological University.
Mr. Maurer, Director of the Global Cybersecurity Norms and Resilience Project and Head of Research for the Cybersecurity Initiative, is serving as Co-chair of the Civil Society Participation Advisory Board of the conference and has co-led the civil society pre-conference training on capacity-building, which builds on the the pre-conference on cybersecurity and human rights. In addition, Maurer will be speaking at the Parallel Session on “Confidence Building Measures, Norms of Behavior and Public-Private Cooperation for International Security in Cyberspace” on how cooperation could be improved between CERTs and other actors maintaining the stable and secure operation of cyberspace.
Mr. Wallace and Mr. Morgus will also contribute as experts to a roundtable discussion on 鈥溾 organized by The Hague Institute for Global Justice and India鈥檚 Observer Research Foundation. Mr. Morgus, co-author of , will sit on a panel organized by The Hague Institute for Global Justice and India鈥檚 Observer Research Foundation to discuss .
