Maresa Strano is the Deputy Director of the Political Reform program at ¹ú²úÊÓƵ, where she works on electoral reform and state and local governance issues and contributes to program management. She has written for outlets such as Vox, Washington Monthly, Democracy Journal, and NBC Think. She also teaches at George Washington University’s Graduate School of Political Management. Prior to joining ¹ú²úÊÓƵ, she worked as a staff writer for Ballotpedia and as an editor for a London-based media company. 

Strano holds an MSc in international relations from the University of Surrey and a BS in economics from the University of Pittsburgh, where she was awarded the Chancellor’s Scholarship by the University of Pittsburgh Honors College.
