Sian-Pierre Regis, National Fellow, is a former journalist (CNN, MTV, HLN) turned documentary filmmaker whose debut feature, Duty Free, was a #1 Apple News story and distributed by Independent Lens on PBS. Expanding on the core issues of care and intergenerational connection, Raising Adults is Regis鈥檚 latest podcast project that will uplift stories of modern families who鈥攂y choice or circumstance鈥攁re living multi-generationally in America today. The stories鈥攚hich come to life through interviews, first person readings, and fly-on-the-wall recordings鈥攚ill center protagonists who illustrate the 鈥渞everse Boomer鈥 trend of elders living with their millennial children. It will draw out the intersectionality of issues like race, culture, gender, poverty, housing, and care that connect these families together.
